This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This rug will give my students a calming and welcoming atmosphere to our learning environment. It will provide them a place to gather and listen to read aloud stories, learn about math, share information daily, dance, sing, and create many leaning opportunities.

The happy smiles will remind them that our class is a happy place where they can feel safe and welcomed.

The happy smiles will provide them a choice of seating while providing personal space from other students. This rug will help me create flexibility to our daily routine and seating options.
