This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are starting their first year at our junior/senior high school so they are learning to navigate 8 classes. They are very determined, hard working children, but can get stressed out easily especially in math. They are in need of a calming area.

Help me create a designated area for them to take a break, sit on bean bags or on the rug as they use their headphones to listen to music, do puzzles, or read a book.

We all need breaks and this will help give my students the space to do so safely and calmly.
