Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade students come to class ready to learn and meet the daily challenges. They value each other's contributions while working in collaborative teams. They are respectful and empathetic students who view each other's differences as strengths.

My students daily enthusiasm and learning enjoyment continue to spark my love for teaching each year.

Additionally, the student's families demonstrate their support through their daily involvement and support. I can't imagine doing it all alone. It does take a village.

More than ever, students need the space and resources to improve their social and emotional well-being. Thus, I request an indoor rug, artificial plants, a meditation table, flameless candles, floor pillows, an indoor fountain, and a sculpture. The goal is for the students to feel safe and comfortable in the classroom when they need a brain break.
