This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a great group of fourth graders. Like many other kids at this age they are going through many new experiences and these can sometimes interfere with their learning. It is my hope to help my students learn how to express their feelings in a positive manner and learn how to refocus.

I hope to create a calming corner for my students.

This calming center will help my students with self-management, a place where they can process an experience or deescalate when they are having a difficult time. The requested "Calming Corner" bundle will provide a safe place for my students.
