it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in the primary autism classroom. Their grade levels span from transitional kinder thru third grade. Not only is it a large grade span, but it also has a wide range of abilities and needs. Each student is unique in their very own particular way. They learn differently and cope differently as well. Often they need comfy floor seats, cuddle balls, weighted lap pads, and other materials for a quiet corner to help them calm down and regulate their emotions. A quiet corner will provide them with a safe space to take the time needed before attending to their academic needs.
