This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is a new inclusion classroom. It is important for our students to have a calming area in our classroom in which is a safe space for all students to use at any given time. These materials will make a positive impact for our students as they begin to navigate through their emotions.
In our Universal Transitional Kindergarten Collaborative Classroom, our students needs vary. Providing an area in our classroom where they can build skills and learn how to de-escalate is crucial for their social emotional development.
