This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A safe and calming space for my students to unwind after a long day at school. This space will promote the social and emotional well being of students.
Many of my students do not have a safe and quiet place to just be while in school.
A lot of my students are also working directly after school and will not have any time to rest. I am hoping that this will allow them the quiet and peaceful space they need. Students can also use the space to socialize when they have finished classwork. Thanks so much for your support.
