Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The recent pandemic has had a long lasting effect on the social-emotional health of all my students. A calming corner filled with objects that students can manipulate will help them self regulate their emotions when they need to regain control.
Students will be able to use this safe space to help support self-regulation, this is an important skill that will have a positive effect in all other areas of their learning.
Please help me create a serene, peaceful spot where my students can conquer their emotions and rejoin the class ready to learn. Thank you for your support!
