My Project

My students are a diverse group of first graders who have a variety of needs. Sometimes they are very shy and quiet and sometimes they can have a lot of energy.

All of the children can benefit from a quiet calm area in the classroom that can give them comfort.

This area will allow the children to be ready to learn. The children will also be able practice positive behaviors such as calming down and calming breathing. The various tools in the area will allow all students to meet their various needs.
