Help me give my students a calming area so that their worries and fears can turn into faith and hope. I would like my students to read books and have engaging conversations in comfortable pillows and beanbags.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very special, they are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They put a lot of energy and thought into their learning and reach high scoring grades. However, because of their commitments and high expectations, they often need help in keeping their many projects and needed resources in one tidy place. This is where the chair pockets would benefit them greatly, limiting wasted time searching for lost papers. Because they work so hard, I would also like to provide them with a place of relaxation. A comfortable place where they can read a book, find a spot of solace, or simply have fun relaxing and interacting in comfortable bean bag chairs. A calming Place will help them do just that, stay calm and relax replenishing their efforts and coming with a renewed sense of much needed well being.
