My Project

This year we have noticed the importance of our calming area for students. We have intentionally used the calming area as a safe place for students to engage in self regulation, co-regulation with students and teachers when big feelings appear, and area to learn more about feelings we may be having and do not understand.

The items for this project will help support our calming area with additional resources to use with our students to help teach self regulation.

Increasing our students self regulation skills will help students learn self control, develop creativity, and classroom relationships with peers.
