Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a new special education teacher, therefore I am limited on supplies. Many of my students will benefit from having a safe, emotional regulation space in the classroom. Staying present in the class with a provided calming space allows my students to still access the curriculum by remaining present in the classroom. These supplies and tools will help my students recognize their emotions. Well resourced coping tools will help my students grow and access strategies to identify and cope with their emotions. These supplies will help support their learning and better equipped for success in the classroom.
