Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A first grade classroom can get VERY noisy, and some students can easily get overstimulated.
This quiet cube will give my students a safe, secluded area in the classroom to regulate their emotions and their bodies.
This allows students to learn when they need a break, and how to get themselves back to a clear headspace to focus on their learning. School is a place that can bring up a lot of different feelings and reactions from kids, and giving them the control to regulate their own bodies will serve them all the way through adulthood!
