This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hardworking, resilient, and full of potential—but like many children today, they face daily stressors that can impact their ability to focus and succeed in school. Whether it's anxiety, frustration, or overstimulation, I want to give them healthy ways to manage their emotions in the classroom.

This project will fund a Stress Relief and Mindfulness Station—a space where students can take a short break, regulate their emotions, and return ready to learn.

With tools like stress balls, sensory fidgets, mindfulness journals, breathing cards, calming visuals, and cozy seating, students will gain strategies to reduce stress and practice self-regulation.

This project will not only support emotional well-being, but also promote academic success by creating a more focused, calm, and supportive classroom environment. Your generosity will give students the tools they need to thrive—inside and outside the classroom.
