My Project

Hello! Thank you for visiting my project. As I transition to elementary school I am seeking engaging ways to help regulate students big emotions. As students grow and encounter more complex learning materials, their ability to retain and focus gets marginally more complicated. When students are faced with remembering so many rules for English, Math, historical events, and exciting nuances of Scientific Discovery their brains can be overloaded.

My goal for this project is to provide students some quick tools to chill out and tune in to how they are feeling.

Helping students name emotions, feelings, and understand that their moment of sadness, frustration, or beyond won't last forever is another valuable life skill.

What makes my students special is that many of them deal with complex home lives, as well as complex social lives. Having a safe space and environment to be vulnerable in is a top priority to assuring emotional health and safety not just in academic settings, but beyond.
