My Project

Many students struggle to express their emotions in appropriate ways. I am asking for some flexible seating, calming activities, as well as covers for the chair legs so that we will have a quiet, calming environment where everyone will be able to focus and learn. I am also asking for a TPT gift card so that I can purchase additional SEL resources throughout the upcoming school year.

These materials will help students have choices and flexibility in where they sit.

They will also assist in building a community of learners who are ready for the rigorous academic skills being taught.

As teachers we need to remember the importance of educating students' hearts just as much as their minds. Many of my students crave attention and are lacking the necessary SEL skills to be able to reach their potential. With your support, we can begin incorporating these life long skills into our class and also learn to become better readers. Thank you for your support!
