Help me give my students the opportunity to learn self-regulation skills by providing them with materials for a classroom calm down corner!

My Project
Self-regulation is the most crucial area of skill development for young children. It allows them to manage "Big Feelings" and physical responses in a positive manner when faced with challenging situations at home and at school. I teach a collaborative preschool program. My typically developing students and students with disabilities are bright, inquisitive, and full of energy, but they are all struggling with regulating their emotions.
A calm down corner in my classroom library will help my students better identify their feelings and control their impulses.
A designated safe place and "time away" from the group corner with ready materials will provide my students with options to regain their emotions. They will be able to sit comfortably in the sensory chairs, manipulate sensory tools, and identify their feelings with visual emotion cards. Once they regain their emotional and physical control, they will be ready to learn with their peers.
