This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Developmental Skills students are some of the most joyful, abundantly creative people I have ever met. We have art class every day and once they complete the day's work, they often have some time to free draw or use an art toy of their choice. Some of the most popular choices have been our mini Buddha boards and scented play dough.

Many of our current art toys have been loved to the max and need replacing.

Objects like Buddha boards, building blocks, and Light Brights are really fun and wonderful for mindfulness and developing gross and fine motor skills.
