it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me give my students a calming area to help regulate and control their emotions.
The calm corner is an important piece of an autism-special day program.
It will be used to provide an area with a sense of calm, while the books and sensory items are tools that can provide sensory relief when they get overloaded. Students will head on over to the corner and use the books as reminders they can regulate their emotions. All these items will help my students feel safe and comfortable and improve their ability to access our curriculum.
