Help me give my students a calm corner to reduce their daily stress/anxiety and help to anchor their emotions.

My Project

These items will help to support individual students in my class when they are having a hard time. They will give the students choice and control on what helps the student calm down independently.

The rollercoaster of emotions is hard for students to navigate through but these items will help to give control back to the students so they can figure out and recognize what tools help their bodies and their minds calm down.

I can see a need in social/emotional learning in students daily. They have so many feelings going through their little bodies that as their teacher I want to give them options on how best to navigate and communicate during not only the fun times in the classroom but the hard times too. I want my classroom to be a safe place where the students all feel welcome to have not just good days but hard days as well.
