Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, calm, and centered, especially when emotions or stress become overwhelming. With your support, I can create a peaceful calm corner in my classroom, a special area where students can go to reset, reflect, and regain their focus. This calm corner will provide a sanctuary of soft lighting, cozy seating, and sensory tools that promote relaxation and emotional well-being. It will help my students learn how to self-regulate, manage their emotions, and develop the skills they need to navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Your generous donation will help provide a space where students can thrive emotionally and academically, setting them up for long-term success.
