This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am creating a counseling office and a calm corner for my students with products that will help assist with coping skills and calming down during heightened feelings. The materials requested are to help make the area calm and a place where students will feel comfortable coming to when they need time to be alone. The counseling office products will help assist in creating handheld tools and visuals for individual student and group counseling. Games will be utilized as a teaching skill for various SEL topics like self-control, anger management, and relationship building.
