Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project includes two comfortable chairs for our wellness space.
Wellness rooms provide relaxation and emotional processing opportunities, which can help students return to their studies with renewed focus and concentration.
This can make them more attentive and active participants in the classroom and improve their chances of achieving academic success.
The children learn to care for their physical, emotional, and mental health. They are learning to identify and regulate their emotions. Wellness spaces empower students to manage emotions and develop healthy coping strategies, increasing their resilience and ability to handle challenges. The chairs will give the children a designated place for a break or quiet activity.
