My Project
I teach preschoolers with developmental disabilities in an inclusive classroom. Many of my students have sensory sensitivities, communication challenges, and difficulty focusing. They learn best in a structured, calming environment. To support them, I am requesting Calming Colors Easy-Clean Room Dividers from Lakeshore Learning.
These dividers will help reduce distractions, create clear learning areas, and provide a quiet space for students who need breaks.
How these dividers will help:
• Reduce Overstimulation: The soft colors create a soothing atmosphere.
• Improve Focus: Dividing spaces makes transitions smoother and expectations clearer.
• Support Self-Regulation: A quiet space helps students calm down when needed.
• Enhance Small-Group Learning: Smaller spaces allow for individualized instruction.
