I am a motivated teacher who works with students who have moderate to severe learning disabilities. As a teacher, I strive to create a student-centered environment that maximizes independence, improves academic success and fosters friendships between students with disabilities and their typically developing peers. In my classroom, we work to teach independence and assist our students in developing academic, communication and life skills that they will need to be successful. I have a passion and drive for special education and I want my students to have everything thing they need to be successful! We are working hard to improve communication, choice making abilities and basic academics. This is where you come in. With your support, you are helping me to give my students the best education possible and allowing me to create a classroom magic and wonder.
