My Project
Hardwood flooring and fluorescent lighting make for an extremely uncomfortable reading environment. And my students have decided to do a full redesign.
We want to create a comfortable, cozy, and calm space for students to hang out and concentrate on reading.
Classroom libraries showcase the importance of reading by providing students with a clean, organized, attractive, and quiet space to learn. The library is an opportunity to attract reluctant readers to a quiet space for independent tasks. And, beyond reading, it provides a calm place for students who might need a little peace and quiet.
