My Project
Our SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) corner is a safe, supportive space where students can manage emotions, practice mindfulness, and build coping strategies. An iPad mini will provide access to calming apps, guided breathing, meditation exercises, and age-appropriate SEL videos. Fidget toys offer tactile stimulation to reduce stress and improve focus, especially for students who struggle with self-regulation. A selection of SEL books will help students explore emotions, empathy, and problem-solving through engaging, relatable stories. Together, these tools create an inviting space where children can pause, reset, and return to learning with a stronger sense of self-awareness and emotional resilience.
