Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students struggle to regulate their bodies. The floor tiles, timers, and felt board will help them to get their bodies regulated and ready to learn. This is an important part of their early development. It will also help them master skills that will help them be successful as they grow in and out of school.
My students thrive when they have tactile and visual tools to regulate their body.
The timers will be an amazing tool that will allow my students to see how much time they have left before they rejoin the other students. The floor tiles and felt board will help them to regulate their body and emotions quicker than sitting in a chair.
