This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Special Education Teacher the majority of my students have sensory needs. Many of my students have Autism or other special needs that require them to need a lot of sensory input.

Chewelry specific for chewing helps my student's to keep from chewing on their clothing, power cords, etc.

As well as the chewlery they can utilize other calming tools and fidgets. It is so crucial that the fidgets we provide are safe and effective. Soft but engaging items can be used to calm the body and refocus so that they can stay regulated and learn.
