My Project

I work with some wonderful students. At times, they may have some difficulties with calming their minds and bodies due to sensory issues or environmental factors. I am seeking support to create a dedicated calm space for my students to support their emotional well-being and provide a safe haven for self-regulation. As research indicates, providing students with resources and space to manage their emotions effectively can lead to reduced stress, fewer emotional outburst and a quicker return to focused learning.

Help me give my students a designated space with the right tools to calm their minds, hearts, and bodies.

This calming space will be located in a quiet area of the classroom that minimizes distraction. The design will focus on creating a calming atmosphere with comfortable seating like the floor seating and tactile elements such as the sensory tiles.

Your contribution in creating a dedicated calm space for students will provide a valuable resource to support their emotional development and academic success. This space will empower students to manage their emotions and build resilience, creating a more positive and supportive environment.
