My Project

More than any academic goal our school district sets, I want my kindergarten students to be calm, confident, and empowered to be their true authentic self. And just like any other skill, calm and confidence can be taught in the classroom.

Each item in this project has been chosen to cultivate a community of calm and confident learners, including mirrors for creating an "affirmation station"!

My hope is that these stickers, rings, and meditation cushions will support a calm classroom environment where students can work towards academic goals without being weighed down by stress and anxiety.
