This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo 3D Printer with allow our students to expand their capacity to create interesting and amazing 3-dimensional physical models with multiple colors! This true #STEAM project will encourage scientific curiosity and creativity for our entire school population. It will allow us to make models for classroom use across multiple disciplines and subjects.
This machine will be housed in our calm and quiet makerspace, which is a separate room in our science building where students can come to create and explore their scientific curiosity while decreasing anxiety in a welcoming atmosphere.
Many students experience a sense of calm and relaxation while engaging in 3D printing because it requires a fair amount of focus which can help to decrease stress for some of our students.
We can also use this incredible machine to produce student-made objects that can encourage donations at school fundraising events. The possibilities are limitless for what students can make and learn by using this new multi-color 3D printer!
