My Project

Being a fifth grade teacher, the fidgets give my students stress relief and anxiety relief on classroom assignments but they request them for tests and it helps to relieve them from the sense of being overwhelmed.. Every student that I service, has the right to learn, and grow to full potential and its up to me to provide them with a calming atmosphere where we can make mistakes and correct them together.

Being an educator to me means meeting the students where they are on each level.

Some students that I service do not have a true support system to help with home work, listen to them, or just to be there because some parents work various hours, I want to provide my students with a cozy atmosphere where mistakes are acceptable and we help each other.

I don't only teach content but I teach life long learners. We learn hope to cope with different situations by engaging in our daily routine. From greetings, to community building exercises, breathing techniques, and purposeful partnering and giving out positive affirmations.
