My Project
Calming corners provide students with a designated space to practice self-regulation techniques, helping them manage their emotions more. Being able to take a short break in a calming corner would allow my students to decompress, which can improve their ability to concentrate when they return to their learning.
Students who are less stressed and more emotionally regulated are better able to engage with their academic work and participate in class activities.
Having items that can be incorporated into a calming corner would allow my students to succeed in their learning.
