Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have all been hungry and unable to focus, and teenagers are no different, especially when growing!
It is not uncommon for my students to only have meals while at school.
These snacks can be sent home with students who need extra support but will also be given during testing, brain breaks, and as mid-day snacks between breakfast and lunch.
Snacks fuel students' brains and bodies, combating mid-day slumps and boosting concentration. Hunger can lead to distraction, impacting learning and academic performance. Nutritious snacks provide essential energy and nutrients, supporting cognitive function and physical well-being.
