Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy building and designing. Since our school has focused on a STEAM curriculum I have been looking for activities that will be challenging and engaging.
Working in cooperative groups, while using the scientific method, my students will participate in a series of events that will foster engagement and problem-solving.
Using these different kits will help to enhance my students' ability to use the four C's-critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. These are necessary skills to have for the students to construct the different projects with these STEAM kits.
