My Project
My students are intrinsically motivated, inquisitive, empathic, leaders, and change agents in the making, from the heart of southeast Washington, D.C.!
My students deserve to have access to a great education, filled with meaningful experiences, individualized and personalized learning, equitable resources, and opportunities to gain global perspectives.
What does it mean to be a change agent?
There will be a fostering of a 'maker mindset' within students, encouraging them to make, learn, collaborate, and share their vision with our learning community.
Making self, whole, and global connections, observing, critical thinking, communicating, synthesizing, applying, and producing unique ideas, this safe space will promote various skillsets to develop them into leaders and thinkers.
This shareable iPad will help build the first-ever maker space in our school, where it will offer our students an opportunity to explore their interests, get creative, research, and have access to a plethora of choices to promote engagement and connections, all while instilling literacy and support for their core instructions.
