This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The California mission kits will provide hands-on learning experiences that cater to various learning styles. By engaging students through tactile activities, visual aids, and interactive elements, these kits can enhance comprehension and retention of historical content. Students will have the opportunity to explore the missions more deeply, fostering a greater understanding of California's history while promoting critical thinking and creativity.

This project will enchance student interest in history through interactive and relatable materials, promote independent by allowing students to explore and create at their own pace and allow them to develop fine motor skills, social skills through group activities, and critical thinking by encouraging them to problem-solve during projects.

Each student brings a unique perspective and set of experiences to the classroom. Their diverse backgrounds and abilities enrich discussions and collaborative projects. Students with mild to moderate disabilities often demonstrate resilience, creativity, and different ways of thinking that can inspire their peers. Recognizing these strengths can help create a supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to share their ideas.
