My Project
My students are engaged in learning geography! The atlases that I am looking for will add to the class collection so that students can work in pairs finding places we are studying about and exploring other parts of the world that they may have learned about from current affairs activities, from their own reading or life experiences.
My fourth graders are excited to focus on studying and learning more about their beautiful state of California.
The materials that I have requested will allow each student to build their own clay topographical map, that is labeled and to scale. They will show the different regions and elevations. In so doing, they will gain a better understanding of the geography of and appreciation for the state we live in.
