My Project
My kindergarten students will use these math manipulatives during our classroom calendar time to support hands-on, concrete learning of abstract math concepts. This approach fosters deeper understanding and engagement by allowing children to explore mathematical ideas through physical objects. By connecting concrete experiences to abstract thinking, students build a strong foundation in math. Additionally, this method supports diverse learning styles and helps boost students' confidence in their mathematical abilities. The beauty of manipulatives provides the students with an opportunity to collaborate with one another, explore math concepts, and make meaningful discoveries through hands-on learning.
