The IPEVO document camera has made lessons much easier to model in an interactive and engaging way. I can show students exactly what is expected and guide them step by step with a clear visual projected for the whole class to see. They love showing what they have created, and I have noticed that they retain more information when learning from one another rather than from me lecturing alone.\r\n\r\nThe Epson EcoTank printer has also been a wonderful addition. It makes creating copies for activities quick and convenient, and the full-color printing adds a fun and exciting element to our classroom materials. Students are especially excited to see their own work come to life in bright colors, which motivates them to put extra effort into their assignments.\r\n\r\nThanks to these tools, all of my students are more engaged and confident in sharing, presenting, and learning together. Even students who are usually quieter or hesitant to speak in front of the class have warmed to using the document camera because it gives them a chance to showcase their work in a meaningful way. The kitchen and kinetic sand centers have quickly become student favorites, giving my kindergarteners a playful space to explore, imagine, and practice social skills. When the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement. They could not wait to jump in and start exploring.\r\n\r\nThe calming books and lights have also been a wonderful addition. Students use them whenever they need a quiet moment to reset or collect their thoughts, and it has been amazing to watch them independently choose these tools to support their own learning and emotions. Exposure to new music and movement patterns to music has sparked and fueled excitement throughout the PE classes and in other school dance opportunities. \r\n\r\nProviding opportunities for students to express themselves through movement with music has also been a tremendous vehicle to open dialogue between my students and me, learning about their involvement in dance classes and dance clubs. One particular student shared with me that he will soon perform during halftime at the Los Angeles Clippers professional basketball game!
