This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want to provide the very best books for our students to read. This list of titles includes many incredible books that are being discussed as possible winner of the Newberry (best youth literature book) and Caldecott (best illustrated book) medals for the most highly recognized books of 2023. Our students love to read and they love to read books that have been given awards, that have that award stickers on the covers. This collection of books would allow them to preview some of these critically acclaimed books and read them before the awards are announced in January.
