Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will be making a STEAM project that combines math, art, and hands-on creativity. Specifically, I will be working with my class of students to design a logo that can be heat pressed onto a shirt that they will wear while taking the AP Exam in calculus. This project will be a collective representation of their hard work this year in getting prepared for the exam, helping the students feel connected and confident during the exam.

Student participation in this project will help foster class camaraderie and serve as a reminder of their efforts and hard work this year.

Not only will this add a layer of motivation and relevance on exam day, it will also serve as a symbol of their accomplishments throughout the year.

My students have worked very hard in this class and this project will help remind them to approach their challenges with a renewed sense of purpose and belief in their ability to succeed. Thank you for helping my students feel more proud and united going into exam day.
