My Project

My 8th graders need a class set of calculators to help them navigate all the challenging 8th-grade math. Many students don't have the resources to purchase them or they forget them at home. Many students are using their Chromebooks or cell phones, but a true scientific calculator will be so much more helpful.

Let's help our 8th graders learn the basics of scientific calculators for future math and science classes and to be efficient in our current learning!

This project will help 7th and 8th grade students be more successful in their math and science learning. We can solve more difficult problems and save time with manual computation. My students are excited to learn and motivated by the use of technology, so this will help to encourage them to keep working!
