Student success is my first priority. I want to be able to provide all students with a working calculator.
I currently teach math to 115 7th grade students.
At one time, I had a classroom set of calculators that students could use. I am down to 14. I would like to offer each student a calculator during math class if they need one. I feel that having a working calculator for each student would contribute to success in the classroom.
My Project
Teaching math is a passion of mine. I love the variety of units that I teach. They include units on probability, algebra, geometry and more. Several of the units I teach allow students to use a calculator. I want each student to have one they can borrow when they are in my classroom and not have to share.
Students often times like to double check their math work.
I want to be able to have a classroom set of calculators. Please consider donating to this cause. Giving students the right tools to find success in the math classroom is just one way to do this.
