Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Using a calculator can save time, increase accuracy, improve efficiency, and simplify complex calculations. It is especially critical for solving real life situations. Accurately solving math problems while inputting the necessary steps will help with the students performance on state assessments. When manually incorporating step by step processing enhances learning by allowing students to focus on the underlying concepts.

Hand held calculators do make a positive difference in an inclusion setting.

This enhances the time and speed the students take in order to complete math problems. The less distractions while dealing with numbers sets a positive learning environment not only in the classroom, but amongst peer interaction. Boosting self esteem levels is a great achievement in every educational setting.

Please help my class purchase calculators in order to help our world of mathematics grow.
