My Project

My name is Mrs. P. and I have taught for 9 years here. I have many wonderful diverse students who have overcome many obstacles in their lives. It is important for them to have the tools necessary to succeed while in school every day. Our students do not have the funds to buy calculators themselves and many of them come with very little or no supplies.

I am requesting calculators for our students to use in our math classes where we do lessons on general algebra and geometry topics but also real world applications like finance to help them be prepared for their future after High School.

Please consider supporting me and my math department. These will be shared with other math teachers in my building who are also working toward the same goals of preparing our students to be the best versions of themselves and being financially literate and confident dealing with math in their daily lives. Thank you for your time.
