This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We need calculators for our students to engage in middle school math! Students with learning gaps are able to engage in grade-level content more effectively when they have access to a scientific-level calculator. When a student is able to get support from a calculator for math fluency, they can save their brain power for the critical thinking and process of high-level mathematics.
In our middle school math content, there are many topics where these calculators are incredibly helpful.
One area they are helpful is radicals like square roots and cube roots.
