Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

A mission of urban education is to empower youth to thrive in college and careers by giving them access to quality resources and an innovative teaching staff.

This is also an important year for my junior students and they are constantly reminded that the SAT test is approaching quickly.

There is very little time for my students to waste because they are working hard to improve their GPAs and SAT scores. Our students are hardworking and motivated to grow each day!

My Project

My students rely on our school to provide exactly what they need. They usually always are taken care of, but adding these graphing calculators will enhance their learning opportunities even more! Being that graphing calculators are expensive, students would appreciate this invaluable resource while completing their classwork and test prep.

Some students are able to supply their own graphing calculators for school, but for the few who need support, this project is essential to their success.

Consider donating for Chicago scholars who need these calculators to learn the advanced questions for the SAT test. When students use graphing calculators they are receiving an opportunity to expand their young minds in STEAM fields.
