This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world, we all use calculators every day and I would love to have enough to teach all of my students to prepare them for real life and help them find strategies to solve math problems!
These calculators will help my students with disabilities access the same curriculum as their general education peers.
Calculators allow for extra help on skills we might struggle with but allow us to keep building on. It is important to know skills like adding, subtracting, multiplication, etc. but calculators allow students to keep growing and building many more math skills. These calculators will help my students with disabilities access the same curriculum as their general education peers.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
